In-House Manufactured Screw Block
The IRONMAC concern's in-house developments have combined a high safety margin and high performance in the screw block. The architecture of the screw block ensures a high heat dissipation rate and an effective lubrication index for all components. The fully automated assembly and parts manufacturing process ensures high precision and balancing of mechanisms.
Enhanced Bearing Focus
DIGI series compressors have a distinctive feature – high-speed, reinforced bearings. Screw blocks in the 5.5 to 37 kW power range have four bearings in their structure, while models from 45 kW and above are equipped with six bearings. Additional calibration and reinforced races ensure an increased service life and a complete absence of runout in the design, even at extremely high speeds or temperatures.
Oil-Cooled Motor
DIGI series models up to 90 kW are equipped with electric motors featuring the highest protection rating of IP65. This class provides protection for the motor even against water, enabling the compressor to operate in the most severe and extreme conditions. The motor is cooled by oil from the main circuit, and any ingress of moisture or debris onto the windings is prevented.
Direct Drive
The entire DIGI series features a "direct drive" design, which ensures maximum efficiency of up to 99.8%, a complete absence of consumable connection elements, high coaxial alignment, no bearings in the electric motor, as well as a low noise level and minimal vibration loads. All these engineering developments together give us one of the quietest, most reliable, and most importantly, most cost-effective monolithic designs to maintain.
